A TRUE Free Honeymoon? Really.

Winter Weddings

OK – a free honeymoon for a whole FIVE (5) nights?? Second question you have – What’s the gimmick?  Both are sound questions, I think.  Here is the answer:

All Season Weddings Domestic USA

Get married in Hawaii (Oahu or Maui) – Honeymoon in Lake Tahoe or Lake Las Vegas.  Winter Snow weddings – Honeymoon in the Sun…how cool is that??  Or Vice Versa – get married in Paradise and Sun-Sand, Honeymoon on white powder for skiing, snowboarding and More?

Wedding or Honeymoon Walk in the Sand

Get married at either Lake Las Vegas or Lake Tahoe and get a free Honeymoon on either Oahu or Maui.

This is a perfect option for those who want a Destination Wedding on the mainland and whose family and friends, for one reason or another, can’t travel outside the mainland or domestic USA.

OR, you want a  “real” Destination Wedding where everyone can spend time celebrating with you at the wedding and area where you are getting married (Either OAHU or MAUI) and you still want a “private” Honeymoon, away from the friends and family!  THis Door #2 Option gives you that romantic wedding in Paradise, and a vacation of a lifetime for friends and family for 4-7 nights (be sure to plan ahead) —- YET, you can….fly away to a Honeymoon far away!!

Maui Wedding

You want your family and friends at your wedding, you want to have it elsewhere other than your backyard AND you  want (NEED) a terrific Honeymoon – being able to get on that plane and fly off into the Sunset, thereoretically speaking.

You can still sign up for the Honeymoon Bridal Registry - so your guests can get you upgraded flights, tours, dinners out, catamaran sailing (Hawaii), money to gamble on (Las Vegas/Tahoe areas), dinner/show combinations – the trip/gift ideas are endless….I can help with that too as far as tours, shows and other ideas.

Your 5 night FREE Honeymoon – Seriously – contact us for more information

Irene didn’t phase us! (This is GREAT news!!)

SANDALS BREATHES — a sigh of relief.

(note from our supplier and friend,  Pedro ): 9/1/2011

We are pleased to announce that Sandals Grande Emerald Bay in

Great Exuma, Bahamas reports no major damage as a result of Hurricane Irene.

More importantly, all the guests and staff are fine.

The resort is fully operational and Irene left no damage beyond a little

landscaping. The resort never lost power, guests remained comfortable, services

were uninterrupted, and the resort is open and accepting guest arrivals.

Jamaican getaways made with you in mind

Ok, summer’s gone – but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a nice week or weekend away to refresh and rewine (misspelled on purpose, think about it) – how nice would it be to be catered to and enjoy Jamaican hospitality and marvelous sunsets?

Planning a Destination Wedding?  Think about your guests as well…Jamaica is fairly close, easy to get to and VERY easy to enjoy.  Sandals has the best weddings. The only drawback is that any guests with children will have to be put up outside of Sandals (no kids allowed) but day passes for the wedding itself is available.  You get the Ultimate Experience and your guests get the Ultimate vacation in Jamaica.

You can still have fun up at Ocho Rios, do Dunn’s River Falls, zip lines and whatever else makes your heart zoom.

Plan for off season, save a little  moola. Email us for more information.

Want Vacation Diversity? Come to the Big Island’s Kona Coast

When you visit the Big Island, or Hawai’i, you certainly won’t lack for things to do and see  There are coffee farms (plantations), heiaus to learn about, spinner dolphins to watch from a distance only, turtles lazing around at the Place of Refuge (they must know the secret none of the rest of us know), shopping at Alii Street and a great lunch at the Canoe Club.

Big Island October 2010

The Kona Coast is the leeward or west side of the Big Island with incredible diversity. You can explore ancient lava flows, historic Hawaiian heiaus and baths, and pristine hidden beaches. As you move south, the stark lava flows around Keahole-Kona International Airport are soon replaced by lush tropical vegetation as you drive upland from the coast.

The mountains of Hualalai (8,000 ft.) and Mauna Loa (13,000 ft.) oversee the coast, often from cloud banks. Offshore, whales frequent our waters all year, while tropical fish, turtles, moray eels, manta rays, and dolphins feast over coral beds. We appreciate your cooperation by enjoying the dolphins from the beach only. Never approach a dolphin, and stay 50
yards away from any dolphin at all times.

Rainfall ranges from 20″ to 60″ a year, and temperatures vary from 80 degrees during the day to a cool 60 degrees at night in the higher elevations, but wait 5 minutes, or drive 5 miles, and the weather may change at any time.

Tired of the Heat? Think Snow (ok, elsewhere…)

I imagine all of us would like to think “COOL” as it seems that we are ensconced in a heat wave…but it is the Dog Days of August.

Anyhow, at least if we think of the snow covered mountains of the Alps and  mainly Switzerland or Austria, we might cool off a little.   Especially as you walk by the skis you have in the garage motioning you to walk closer…do so and you might feel the coolness of the Alpine Snow.

It will begin to snow all too soon in the mountains of Europe and people will clamor to ge their winter vacations taken care of.  For those people with foresight…..that planning will already be done and you won’t have to worry about being disappointed.  Your place in the snow is taken care of.  Isn’t it??

NO Fear or Worry here

Don’t let Fear, and its little buddy Worry, stand in the way of your vacation or wedding – honeymoon planning.

I was reading while drinking my tea, earlier today and gleaned some of this information from TRO and decided how apropos most of it is today.  Suffice it to say – Fear, Worry, Doom, Gloom – are glorious push buttons that the press and the government love to use on us.  Put these 4 on the top shelf of your way back closet and don’t take them out, at all.

I, personally, do not take the daily newspaper any longer, nor do I usually sit up and wait ifor the 11 pm news.  Once in a while I listen to Anderson Cooper’s 360, especially during times of crisis (like Japan).  I just get the weekend paper (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) and mostly only for community news – certainly not for the gloom and doom stories.

Have you ever noticed that  we Humans tend to worry about things that have not, and may not ever, come to pass. As others have pointed out, it is unfortunate that elements of the press and government feed a constant stream of gloomy news to us daily.  They do so to mislead us and because all of this Gloom and Doom (more buddies of Fear and Worry) tend to SELL newspapers (and the National Enquirer–which people standing in line to buy groceries can’t NOT read).  (And whose pockets do those funds go to?) But the possibility of bad news often paralyzes us.  We need to know and realize this and shake off the paralyzing effect.  Life is too short.  Enjoy yourself.

Wayne Gretzky said, “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.” How many times do we fail to achieve a small advance, or enjoy a great vacation travel experience, because fear of failure stops us?  I remember when the Iraq war first began….people were cancelling their trips and plans right and left.  I told my friends and clients then, and still do, if you STOP what you are doing or planning….Who has really won? Not you.  Grab that suitcase, swimsuit, sun tan oil…..and go!  Plan that Destination Wedding or Honeymoon – have the time of your lives!!

Fear masquerades in different disguises to appear more acceptable. Fear can convince you that the occasion is not right, or that the timing is bad, or that a better opportunity will come along.  When you let fear play traffic cop for your instinct, the wrong guy is in charge.

Remember this: fear is purely psychological. Worry does not exist except in your head. Action is the prescription for fear. Might bad things happen? Certainly. Can you do anything about it? Possibly. The one thing you can absolutely do is keep moving forward. Giving in to fear is the worst possible thing you can do. Get up, move, put yourself into play. Take the chance. Instead, put into your head the vision of a great vacation or wedding – play with that new digital camera until you really KNOW it and can save your Memories – you won’t ever forget them – or “fear” to take them out to revisit.

The reality of the situation, as President Roosevelt once told this nation, is we have nothing to fear, but fear itself.  Then, I also thank TRO for this great article this morning because it gave me a lot of food for thought to extend to you.
