The hilltop village of Goult is situated in the Luberon hills, equidistant between the picturesque villages of Gordes and Bonnieux. It is a wonderful area for walks and cycling, as well as driving tours to explore the many attractions of this diverse area.

  You can be situated. with a glass of wine in the evening near the small village of Maubec in the Luberon, you will be close to the many delightful hill villages and activities which this area offers. There is a small food shop in Maubec, and more in nearby Coustellet, where the owner also has a restaurant. The villages of Oppède-le-Vieux, Gordes, Ménerbes and Bonnieux are all within a 15 minute drive.  This is good for families or larger groups, sleeping 10 in 5 bedrooms, with limited availability in August (8/21) save more $$

  While traveling in the Luberon area, on the outskirts of the charming medieval village of Cabrières d’Avignon, within the Luberon National Park, take a short walk to the centre of the village where there is an excellent baker, butcher and grocer and well placed for children to do the early morning croissant and baguette run through the quiet, narrow streets as the village stirs to life. Then it’s back to the house for an alfresco breakfast in a sunny corner of the garden – Sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms, with limited August availability saving $700.

Rent a bike, take your own Tour de France, stopping at a local boulangerie for sweets or a small lunch with the locals, stroll down the streets of the various towns you come to or in the Luberon National Forest.  Take along your camera to bring those memories home — you won’t feel quite so cold in front of the fire this winter when you get out your scrapbook of  your late Summer trip to France.
